½ mm Reactivation Dimple Plier
During Bioliner treatment, if a tooth has not moved to the intended reset position, use your Reactivation Dimple Plier and place a ½ mm dimple on the facial and/or lingual of the tray contacting the tooth you are trying to move.
To reactivate a rotation– Place the dimple on the facial of the tray in a position where the dimple is pushing on the most facial aspect of the tooth. To achieve a “spinning” action, place a second dimple on the lingual part of the tray in a position where the dimple is pushing on the most lingual aspect of the tooth.
To reactivate forward or backward tooth movement– Place a dimple on the mesial and distal of the lingual of the tray contacting the tooth you are trying to move forward. To move a tooth toward the lingual, place a dimple on the mesial and distal of the facial of the tray contacting the tooth you are trying to move lingually.
